Suggestion
[edit]Add to See also
Old Aberdeen

- Personally I don't think we need a link to Old Aberdeen in the See also section, as it's crowded already and Old Aberdeen is mentioned and linked to in a few different places in the main article. That being said in general for such a small change, I suggest being WP:BOLD and just adding it in. You'll get things done a lot quicker that way! NemesisAT (talk) 23:16, 21 February 2021 (UTC)

[edit]A bit too much puff in this one. Example:
Aberdeen has long been famous for its 45[69] parks and gardens, and citywide floral displays which include two million roses, eleven million daffodils and three million crocuses. The city has won the Royal Horticultural Society's Britain in Bloom 'Best City' award ten times,[69] the overall Scotland in Bloom competition twenty times[69] and the large city category every year since 1968.[69] However, despite recent spurious reports, Aberdeen has never been banned from the Britain in Bloom competition.[70] The city won the 2006 Scotland in Bloom "Best City" award along with the International Cities in Bloom award. The suburb of Dyce also won the Small Towns award.[71][72]

Aberdeen Wiki Meetup - join us!
[edit]Hi
We are going to be running a regular Aberdeen Wiki Meetup in the city centre. This is for the local editing community who are interested in getting together over a coffee for some Wikipedia, Wikidata or Wiki Commons editing.
I've put together a quick form to capture areas of interest and when people would like to meet. Please add your details if you are interested in exploring this further.
We expect it to be laid back, informal, and a way to share knowledge and expertise with other similarly-minded folk.
We know that there is broad interest in this, and expect the group to grow quite rapidly.
Please pass this message to anyone else you know who might be interested.
Hopefully see you there!
